My best friend Ricky and I did that years ago. It was great fun, a little difficult, and very dangerous.
We rode it buck naked for almost two miles along a pretty busy highway.
We used two cars. I followed Ricky to the where we planned to jump off, then we rode together back to the starting point.
It was a hot summer day, so we wore only t-shirts, shorts, and shoes. I scouted where we would jump on, off, and the train times several days in row before we did it.
We jumped on not far from a switching yard. We had to be pretty sneaky there, because that is where you were more likely to get caught.
We jumped on an empty flatcar. Undressed and stood on our clothes. Stayed nude, smiling, and waving at the cars on the highway for almost two miles.
It was great fun and we didn't get caught.
WARNING! NEVER JUMP A MOVING TRAIN. It's very dangerous and very illegal (even if you keep your clothes on).
Ricky and I did this way before 9/11. If caught now, you probably won't just have to deal with your local police, but will probably have to answer to the FBI, NTSB, and who knows what other agencies.
